"At 26, as a mother of a two year old, when I sat listening to Mr.Joosten one evening as he talked about 'the social question' of the child, I wondered if one such existed. I casually shrugged my shoulders and shifted my attention away. Today, a Quarter century later, I realize that nothing seems to have changed. Instead, it seems to have become worse. As I become pensive and oscillate between crests and valleys of euphoria and despondency, I hear a few voices softly calling me,
'Lakshmi Ma'am! ... WE SHALL CHANGE THIS'.
'Yes! We shall find the lost glory of the CHILD'.  "

As a member of the Montessori Alumni Association, Hyderabad (MAAH), I Congratulate the Montessori fraternity on this wonderful occasion of launching the website. I appeal to the many more waiting with apprehension at the immensity of the task. I call upon them to gather courage.

'You are not alone, come along! This is a great step to cross all the confines to propagate the Montessori Philosophy to reach those minds which need to be ignited with knowledge. It is in this glorious task of instilling love, faith, respect and appreciation for 'The Child - the forgotten citizen of the world', that we can seek our salvation.
